The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and its Small Business Alliance are looking for exceptional companies to apply for the 2018 Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business awards.
The program is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Being a “Superstar” award winner has helped us grow our business and achieve our business objectives. Plus, the publicity that comes along with being a winner has tremendous value, both internally and externally. I would encourage all businesses to try to earn this recognition,” stated Mike Uffner, CEO, AutoTeam Delaware, 2003 Superstar in Business.
The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce launched the Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Awards program in 1998 to recognize small businesses and nonprofit organizations in Delaware.
The application process, along with additional details, can be found at www.dscc.com/superstarsinbusiness. Winners are judged in three categories based on number of employees, and a nonprofit category.
Awards of excellence are also given to worthy applicants.
Interested members can register to attend a special workshop on July 12, to learn how to craft a winning application with advice and best practices shared by the Superstars Selection Committee and past winners. Registration can be found online at www.dscc.com/events.
For a company to be eligible, it must be a member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, have been in business for at least three continuous years, and have 150 or fewer employees.
Previous Superstars in Business winners may re-apply after five years. The deadline for entry is noon on August 16.
