Delaware builder Insight Homes says it is cutting prices at the high-end Lewes community of Showfield.
A grand opening and ribbon cutting for a home is scheduled for Saturday, July 14th.
“With lower energy bills and a lower price point, homeowners are able to live in this highly desirable community at a much more affordable price range – without having to skimp on the luxury or options,” a release stated.
Homes in the development currently run more than $600,0000, according to the builder’s website.
Named for the horse show held annually on the property, the community has a restored historic barn. Showfield is a mile from the center of Lewes, two miles from Lewes’ beach, and four miles from Cape Henlopen State Park.
The community has four ponds within the community, an outdoor swimming pool with cabanas, access to the Junction and Breakwater bike trail, and wooded walking trails. The community is located in the Cape Henlopen School District.
