Chemours Company, Wilmington, has acquired ICOR International, Indianapolis, a privately-owned leading supplier of branded, ozone safe refrigerants and related products.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
“ICOR has developed an excellent reputation with contractors and equipment owners, has strong brands and an extensive distributor network, all of which will be a valuable addition to Chemours and enhances our ability to meet our customer needs in North America,” said Diego Boeri, vice president of Chemours fluorochemicals business.

Chemours was spun off from DuPont Co. and offers high-efficiency refrigerants as one of its core businesses.
Chemours has about7,000 employees and 26 manufacturing sites in North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Europe.
