The sign tells story.

The former Harry’s Seafood Grill will be known as Banks Seafood Kitchen.

The sign reflects the ownership last change that occurred when Xavier Teixido sold the Wilmington Riverfront establishment to long-time chef David Banks.

Teixido continues to operate Harry’s Savoy Grill and banquet facility off Naamans Road in north Wilmington and Kid Shelleen’s in the Trolley Square area of Wilmington.

As the sign indicates, the restaurant will keep its focus on seafood, with perhaps a less formal touch.

Seafood has been a popular theme among Riverfront restaurants, with Big Fish Grill drawing crowds on the upper end of the redeveloped area that has seen upwards of  $1 billion in investments.
