Interstate Hotels & Resorts –  a  global hotel management company – announces that its Asia Investment Group has executed three new hotel management agreements.

One of the agreements is for the 217-room DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Wilmington-Legal District. Interstate is based in Arlington, VA.

The hotel has  24,000 square feet of hotel meeting and event space and is under the ownership of an Asian company.

Located near the New Castle County Courthouse and U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the property has two legal war rooms with 3,000 square feet of law centers, including private, secured entrances and dedicated internet circuits.

The hotel is in a confusing position when it comes to web searches,  since another Doubletree on Concord Pike north of the city goes by the Doubletree Wilmington name – hence the long title for the downtown property.

Interstate’s other two hotel management agreements  are in California.

“It is no more gratifying than to earn the business and trust from new customers. We are committed to driving peak performance for these high-quality hotels,” said Don Li, head of Interstate’s Asia Investment Group. “Our Asia practice team is exceptionally qualified to serve Asian hotel owners and investors who seek to invest in the U.S. and Europe, as evidenced by our strong momentum and rapid growth.”
