Frontier adds Delaware Valley flights to Savannah, Birmingham

Frontier Airlines announced new service from Philadelphia to Birmingham, AL and Savannah, GA.

New nonstop routes from Trenton include Charleston, SC; Jacksonville; Myrtle Beach; and Nashville.

Frontier typically flies two or three times a week to destinations from Philadelphia.

The airline previously announced several cities from Philadelphia.

“This additional 35 routes is further evidence of Frontier’s commitment to deliver on our mission to make air travel more affordable and accessible to 90 percent of America,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines.

Frontier added four new cities with the most recent announcement and will begin offering service to/from Birmingham (April 11); Savannah/Hilton Head (May 1); Myrtle Beach, S.C. (May 20) and Branson, Mo. (June 13).

Further growth is coming with nearly 200 more new aircraft on order.

Frontier briefly served New Castle County Airport, but later shifted its focus to Philadelphia. The carrier has steadily expanded its flight schedule from the airport.
