The Firefly Music Festival has announced its 2018 line-up with headliners listed as  Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Arctic Monkeys and the Killers.

The festival is slated for June 14-17 at the Woodands in the Dover Downs area.

Dozens of other performers were announced for the festival that has become a Delaware mainstay.

The festival also saw its first gender equality controversy when popular singer Halsey questioned what she saw as a lack of female performers. Halsey performed at Firefly in 2015.

Firefly, which caters to a younger audience with its line-up,  also seemed to lack older headliners. The event does add performers after the initial announcement.

Previous festivals have featured Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, and the late Tom Petty.

General Admission is currently $269 a person. Camping or glamping can run more than $5,000 for an air-conditioned guest house.

Payment plans are available for those without the up-front funds.

While attendance figures were not released, reports indicated that the turnout was smaller than in previous years.

Firefly has provided a boost to the Central Delaware economy during its six-year existence. However, the onsite camping and food has limited its economic impact.

Firefly is produced by Chicago-based Red Frog Events.
