The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce looks forward to the leadership of Gary R. Stockbridge as their new chairman of the Board of Directors. Stockbridge, Region President of Delmarva Power, an Exelon company, was elected chairman, effective following the Board’s Annual Meeting on January 8, 2018. He succeeds Salvatore J. “Chip” Rossi, of Bank of America.

Stockbridge will face an early challenge as the organization looks for a new president to succeed Rich Heffron, who plans to retire from the post after a long career as a Chamber executive.

“The Chamber is in great hands with Gary Stockbridge as the new chairman. He is a well-respected business leader who I know will guide all of us in working together to shape the future for all Delawareans,” said Chip Rossi.

Stockbridge joined Delmarva Power in 1997 and was named President of Delmarva Power in 2005. Stockbridge has more than 35 years of utility experience across all aspects of the business.

“It’s an honor to be elected to this role. I look forward to serving our members and advancing the business environment in Delaware,” said Stockbridge.
