Delaware Business Now will carry Gov. John Carney’s annual State of the State Message via the state’s Livestream feed.
The speech before members of both houses of the General Assembly is slated for the afternoon of Jan. 18.
The speech generally offers Carney’s observations on how the state is faring along with a broad outline of his priorities in the current session of the General Assembly.
Carney will later deliver a more detailed budget message.
The address comes after a difficult session last year that had the new governor and the General Assembly wrestling with a $400 million budget shortfall.
The administration and legislative leaders have vowed to do more up front work on the upcoming budget.
