Jersey Mike’s Subs will open on December 13 at the Christiana Fashion Center.
Franchise owner Brad Mouly will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 10 to Sunday, January 14 to support Autism Delaware.
The new restaurant is circulating 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Autism Delaware.
“We’re excited to bring Jersey Mikes Subs to the Christiana community,” said Mouly. “This will be our fourth Delaware location, and we are looking forward to continuing our partnership with Autism Delaware.
A similar promotion took place earlier in the year when a Jersey Mike’s opened on the south end of Newark.
Expected to open next year is MidiCi an upscale fast-casual self-service restaurant that specializes in Neopolitan-style pizza that is made in special ovens within 90 seconds.
The California-based chain has franchises in the King of Prussia area near Philadelphia and White Marsh, east of Baltimore.
The two restaurants will join Ted’s Montana Grill, Zoe’s Kitchen, Zoup!, Shake Shack, Chili’s and fast-casual Mexican spot Qdoba at the power center near Christiana Mall.
The center’s retail tenants include Container Store, Saks on Fifth, Nordstrom Rack, DSW shoes, Talbot’s and Raymour and Flanigan.
Slated to open next year is a new location for Main Event. The Australia-based company has been expanding in the U.S. and has nearly three dozen centers in this country that bowling, laser tag, restaurant and other games.
