More than 1 million vehicle trips through Delaware tolls reported over Thanksgiving holiday

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that during the five-day Thanksgiving holiday travel period 1,200,235 vehicle trips were totaled at the I-95 Newark Plaza and at the SR 1 Biddles Corner and Dover Plazas.

It is estimated that over $3 million in revenue was collected at Delaware’s toll plazas during this time frame.

Delaware’s I-95 tolls are unpopular among Northeast Corridor travelers for charging $4 for traveling 23 miles.
