UD Dover center can be used by nonprofits for a fee

Leaders from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Delaware in Dover announced that classrooms and meeting facilities in the building are available for reservation by UD departments and other non-profit entities.

Located  at the College Business Park in Dover, the OLLI Dover facility officially opened in July 2016.Although the facility’s primary function is to provide classrooms for more than 45 courses and meeting rooms for  Osher Dover’s 250 members, the versatile space and its state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment serve as valuable resources for other organizations.

Other UD departments, divisions, and programs—especially those that cater to statewide audiences—as well as non-profit civic, educational and cultural entities located in central Delaware are welcome to submit applications to use the OLLI Dover facilities.There are no fees for other UD departments to use the facility, but non-UD entities must pay $100 a day. Additional charges apply if OLLI Dover employees must staff the building.

Anyone requesting use of OLLI Dover facilities must submit an online facility use application. All requests for facility use must be approved in advance by Dover management.
