The Hot Chick’n, lands at Shake Shack at Christiana on Aug. 1 for a limited time
The Hot Chick’n joins the a Chick’n Shack, Shake Shack’s first-ever chicken sandwich that debuted in 2015.
“We’ve been playing around with a spicy version of our Chick’n Shack for some time now,” said Shake Shack Culinary Director Mark Rosati. “And we couldn’t be more thrilled to finally share our newest creation with our Shack fans!”
According to a release, The Hot Chick’n is crafted from an all natural cage-free chicken breast—no hormones or antibiotics ever—slow-cooked in a creamy buttermilk marinade, hand-dipped into Shack-made batter, dredged through seasoned flour and crisp-fried. The sandwich is dusted with a guajillo and cayenne pepper blend and topped with Louisiana hot sauce slaw, kosher dill pickles. The ingredients are served on Shake Shack’s potato bun.
Those who want the sandwich can get early access via the Shack App. From July 28th through July 31st, you can order the Hot Chick’n exclusively on the Shack App.
