JPMorgan Chase and Co. will hold its annual meeting in Delaware.  The financial services giant will hold the meeting on May 16  at the JPMorgan Chase Delaware Technology Center, near Wilmington.

Chase, under CEO Jamie Dimon, has continued to grow in Delaware, buying the Christiana Gateway buildings in downtown Wilmington and adding the technology center. The company also has employment centers in the Newark and Christiana areas.

Chase is on its way to become the state’s largest for-profit employer. Christiana Care is believed to be the largest private employer.

The tech center, the former AstrzZeneca South Campus was overhauled from top to bottom  to attract and retain a younger workforce.

Delaware is no stranger to high-profile annual meetings, with Ford and General Motors among the companies holding meetings in the state.
