M-Cubed, an industrial ceramic composites manufacturer has applied for a nearly $1.24 million in state grants as part of a new production facility.
The request by Connecticut-based company will be considered on Monday by the Delaware Council on Development Finance.
The council’s recommendations go to the director of the Delaware Economic Development Office for consideration.
MCubed, currently located at 1 Tralee Industrial Park requestied the following:
- a $208,876 Retention Grant from the Delaware Strategic Fund, based on the retention of 62 full-time Delaware positions.
- A $929,668 Performance Grant for the creation of 155 new full-time Delaware positions.
- A Capital Expenditures Grant from the Delaware Strategic Fund for up to $107,170, or a 3% match of qualified capital expenditures up to $3,572,318, for costs associated with a new facility.
Further details on the facility were not released on the meeting agenda of the council.
