Delaware Health Information Network (DHIN) will debut its first consumer-focused television commercial in the lead-up to and during the big game on Sunday.

The 30-second white board-style spot, “DHIN Defined,” launches a full multi-media campaign created to introduce residents of Delaware and  surrounding markets to the value of DHIN.

“DHIN’s doing big things in Delaware and across the region; what better time to engage consumers than during one of the biggest TV viewing days of the year?” said Randy Farmer, DHIN’s chief operating officer.

As the nation’s first statewide health information exchange, DHIN provides an electronic network through which hospitals, physicians, labs and other members of a patient’s medical team quickly and securely exchange clinical information. (See advertisement below).

The campaign highlights how DHIN saves critical time for both the patient and the medical provider by keeping records in one place; saves money by preventing duplicate tests; and saves lives by streamlining access to a patient’s medical information.

The TV spot will air once during “Good Day Philadelphia” (7:00 – 10:00 am) and twice during the pre-game show (3:00 – 5:00 p.m.) on Fox 29, reaching New Castle County and the Philadelphia area.

In Kent and Sussex Counties, the spot will air once during the game on Fox 21. Additionally, DHIN’s spot will begin its ten-month run on Comcast stations Sunday, including A&E, Comedy Central, the Discovery and History Channels, MSNBC and the Weather Channel.

In the coming weeks, DHIN will also launch radio, print, digital and outdoor elements. The campaign directs consumers to www.dhin.org/dhin24seven, as well as to DHIN’s social media accounts.
