 Mark T. Peterson, former Executive Vice President of Sales for Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc., has joined Trinity Logistics, Seaford,  as the Senior Vice President of Business Development.

 Peterson has held Vice President and Executive Vice President positions in four other transportation and logistics companies prior to accepting his role with us. Peterson brings experience in customer relationship management development, sales recognition programs, and customer advocacy board development.

Carlson has joined the firm as a manager in the tax department. He brings more than 30 years of diverse experience. His focus has been working with trusts, estate and gift tax strategies and plan execution. He has a specialization in the detailed analysis of trust documents and wills in order to file appropriate Federal and State income tax returns. He has experience with annual and lifetime gifting strategies, as well as providing his experience to develop detailed plans to effectively exercise Non-Qualified Stock Option and Incentive Stock Options.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management promtes Wilson

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has promoted Peter Wilson to wealth manager providing wealth and investment planning services for the firm’s clients in Delaware. Based in Greenville, Wilson reports to team leader Gregg Landis.

Wilson, who for three years served as associate wealth manager at the firm, previously worked with the asset servicing business of BNY Mellon, the wealth manager’s parent company. Wilson, originally joined BNY Mellon in 2010 when it acquired PNC Global Investment Services.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware.

Becker Morgan Group announced the following employees have been promoted to Senior Associate

Charles (Bucky) G. Dennig, Jr., Professional Land Surveyor, has been with the firm for 15 years and leads the surveying department in Salisbury, MD. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Salisbury State University and holds a Professional Land Surveying license in 3 states. His experience includes all aspects of topographic, ALTA, boundary, and construction surveys in addition to a wealth of experience with solar projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

 Christopher D. Duke, P.E., PTOE, LEED APis a Civil Engineer with over 10 years of experience and leads Becker Morgan Group’s recently opened Newark, DE office. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. His responsibilities include traffic engineering on projects across all offices as well as project management duties for various New Castle County projects.

 Jonathan S. Falkowski is a Civil Designer in the Dover, DE office with 11 years of experience. After obtaining an Associate of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology at Delaware Technical Community College, he then earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Delaware. His experience includes civil design, 3D CAD implementation, and project management on a variety of large scale projects. He has extensive “turf” field experience and is currently serving as Project Manager on the 85 acre DE Turf Sports Complex in Frederica, DE. 

Mark Loudermilk, AIA,Architect in the Wilmington, NC office earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and has 23 years of professional experience. He joined Becker Morgan Group 5 years ago and has extensive public safety facility experience with multiple fire station and 911 emergency operation center projects in addition to his extensive commercial experience. He served as Project Manager on the LEED Silver Certified City of Wilmington Fire Station #3, and is currently Project Manager on Fire Station #5 for the City of Wilmington. 

 Kevin W. Parsons, Professional Land Surveyor, LEED APhas been with the firm for 17 years working in the Salisbury, MD civil department. He has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Salisbury State University and 28 years of professional experience which includes drafting, design, and project management. Parsons is a Professional Land Surveyor and obtained licensure to become a Maryland Forest Conservation Qualified Professional. 

Public Health division names dental director

The Division of Public Health (DPH) is pleased to welcome Dr. Nicholas Conte, as Dental Director for the DPH Bureau of Oral Health and Dental Services (BOHDS).

Conte is a prosthodontist who most recently served as the Director of Clinical Research and Education for Dentsply Sirona.

He has prior experience in both private practice and as a faculty member at New Jersey Dental School (renamed the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine), where he taught both undergraduate and post-graduate prosthodontics. 

Conte has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally, conducted clinical research trials, and worked on product development teams for impression materials, composites, adhesives, and cements.

Brandywine School District names CFO

The Brandywine School District has hired Jason Hale, Ed.D., CPA as its new Chief Financial Officer.  

For 17 years, Hale has been Director of Business for the New Castle County Vocational Technical School District.  In that role, he has overseen all financial operations for NCCVT, including federal, state, and local transactions, and has supervised staff in the Human Resources, Facilities, Business, and Food Service Departments.

 Since 2013, he also has served as a member of the Brandywine School District’s Finance Committee, an appointed board of residents with knowledge and experience in financial analysis and management that review the District’s budget monthly and advise the Board of Education in all matters related to school finances.  Prior to joining NCCVT, he was a senior auditor with Barbacane, Thornton & Company CPAs.

Hale earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware, as well as his Doctor of Education from Wilmington University, where he serves as an adjunct faculty member and adjunct coordinator of Career and Technical Programs.

Until recently, McDonald also served on the Nlets (International Justice and Public Safety Network) Board of Directors and as 2nd Vice-Chairman of the FBI’s Advisory Policy Board.

Tillman joins Allen Harim

Harry L. Tillman has joined Allen Harim as Senior Manager of Business Development with a strong focus on the company’s retail segment for its signature Nature’s Sensation® brand, raised with no antibiotics ever.

Tillman has spent the past 20 years as a sales operations and strategy executive with a deep background in high quality value added and retail businesses.

Originally from Savannah GA  Tillman spent the bulk of his career at Smithfield Foods, in Smithfield, VA, where held various roles including General Manager of the Smithfield Deli Group, and most recently Senior Director of Sales. He oversaw a team of nine direct sales manager and eight brokers, with $200 million in annual revenue from key accounts including Publix and Winn Dixie.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Georgia Southern University.

Gireesh  joins Nanticoke Health Services

Nanticoke Health Services welcomed Arvind K. Gireesh, MD, FACC to its active medical staff. Gireesh is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases.

Gireesh received his Doctor of Medicine from the Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands Antilles. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts..
