Lite BriteIn an effort to highlight electricity options for local consumers, Direct Energy, the electric supplier exclusively contracted by the State of Delaware, will set up a giant Lite Brite at various spots in Delaware throughout the month of November.

The installation is a large-scale replica of the 1960s  Hasbro toy that allowed kids to place translucent lights around a peg board to create glowing art designs.

Direct Energy’s Lite Brite is 10 feet x 7 feet, with hundreds of colorful pegs that people can use and create their own works of art. Direct Energy employees will be on site, passing out flyers, flashing reflectors, water bottles, and drawstring backpacks.

The remaining appearances for the Lite Brite are:

  • Wednesday, November 23, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Delaware Children’s Museum, Wilmington Riverfront.
  • Friday, November 25, 2016 (Black Friday), 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., 132 Christiana Mall.
  • Saturday, November 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Delaware Children’s Museum.

Direct Energy is now offering electric choice service to residential and business customers in the state after being selected by the Delaware Public Service Commission as part of an effort to have more people choose alternative suppliers.
