Christiana Care, Nanticoke Health Services and Nemours Children’s Health System have been named to the 18th annual Hospitals and Health Networks magazine 2016 Most Wired list.
HealthCare’s Most Wired survey is published annually and in 2016 represented an estimated 2,146 hospitals.
Health Care’s Most Wired Survey examined which health systems are most adroit at improving the efficiency of care delivery through the use of technology.
“The award recognizes how we are leading the nation in the integration of care and technology to connect with the people we serve in new and very different ways to help them achieve optimal health,” said Randy Gaboriault, chief information officer and senior vice president of Innovation and Strategic Development at Christiana Care.
“Being designated as a Most Wired award winner is a leading industry barometer measuring the adoption and use of information technology (IT) within hospitals and healthcare nationwide. Our ability to consistently reach this achievement is a great validation of leveraging technology and our continuous improvement efforts to deliver patient care how and when our patient families need and want it,” said Bernie Rice, Enterprise Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Nemours Children’s Health System
