Vice president Joe Biden will give the commencement address next month at Delaware State University, Dover.

The  ceremony will begin  at 10 a.m. May  7 at Alumni Stadium on the DSU campus.

In 2003, Biden – then Delaware’s senior U.S. senator – was the DSU Commencement keynote speaker. That year about 450 graduates heard his commencement message.

During the May 7  Commencement, the Vice President  will give his  address to approximately 700 graduates, a reflection of the growth of the university.

Future advisories will be forthcoming   for members of  the public who plan to attend the ceremony.
