Jewish FedThe Jewish Federation of Delaware announced  that it has been honored with a  2016 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

We are excited to be named a Top-Rated 2016 Nonprofit,” says Seth J. Katzen, CEO  of the Jewish Federation of Delaware. “This is the fifth consecutive year that Federation has received this accolade reinforcing our commitment to excellence.”

The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews the federation received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. People posted their personal experience with the nonprofit.  For example, one person posted, “The Jewish Federation of Delaware has provided my family with a warm Jewish community. We’ve been blessed with great friends, a great cause, and an incredibly well run nonprofit that is doing the right things.” Another reviewer posted, “Jewish Federation of Delaware works tirelessly within the Jewish community–and partners beautifully with the non-Jewish community–to make a meaningful difference in the First State.”

Being on the Top-Rated list gives donors and volunteers more confidence that this is a credible organization.  The reviews by volunteers, lay leaders and donors show the on-the-ground results of this nonprofit, a release stated.

In addition to the GreatNonprofits 2016 Top-Rated Award, Federation is also a Charity Navigator Four-Star Rated Charity and a GuideStar Exchange Gold Level Participant, the other key industry evaluators’ top recognition for being a trusted and transparent organization.
