dh-logo-blueDelaware Hospice  acknowledged  the  work of the home-grown community-centered organization, The Rose Colored Lasses, for their continued support of the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

On December 3rd, The Rose Colored Lasses held a Christmas House Tour and The Spectacular Tastes of Christmas to raise money for the Delaware Hospice Center. Visitors were given house tours through several wonderfully decorated homes in the Milford area.

The wine tastings included wines from Wines by Bernie, The Sposato Family Vineyards, as well as food and decorations from Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Bloom Designs, Lewes Fish House, Sugar Bee Boutique, and Touch of Italy. The purpose of these fabulous demonstrations was to show how anyone can host a festive holiday gathering without spending hours in the kitchen.

Through their 11-year history, The Rose Colored Lasses have organized and executed events such as bake sales, auctions, car washes, chili cook-offs, and selling homemade jewelry to help support the efforts of their local community needs.

Becky Sharp, member of The Rose Colored Lasses said, “The most rewarding part of this entire event is listening to all the amazing stories of how Delaware Hospice has helped our community. All the companies and individuals we approached to participate with our event were so welcoming and supportive as soon as we mentioned all the donations were going to the Center.”
