The Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware (RDC) announced that after a successful inaugural season in 2014/2015, the Horizon Riverfront Rink will return to Riverfront Wilmington. this winter.
This family-oriented attraction will open on November 27 and will continue until February 28, 2016.
Located at 308 Justison Street, the green space at Justison Landing, the site will feature holiday decorations, twinkling lights, and music. The 72’ x 120’ skating rink accommodates approximately 350 skaters at a time. Amenities at the rink include a warming tent, skate rental, and concessions. The rink is managed by the RDC.
Admission for skating is $8 per person (age 13+) and $5 per person (age 12 and under). The cost of skate rental is $3 per pair.
Horizon Riverfront Rink also offers programs and promotions throughout the skating season, including a Learn to Skate program, birthday parties and private rentals. Further information is available at www.riverfrontrink.com.
