Newark Police have ticketed a 21-year-old woman after her car crashed into the Boston Market on College Avenue.
Police reported that a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Joelle Prettyman, 21, of the Newark area.
Police said Prettyman was driving eastbound on Welsh Tract Road when she lost control of the car, slid off the roadway and crashed into the south side of the building.
No injuries were reported. One patron inside the restaurant sustained a minor injury due to debris but refused medical attention.
Prettyman was cited for careless driving.
