Must mauiMaui Wowi Hawaiian, a dual beverage concept specializing in  Hawaiian coffee and fresh fruit smoothies, has signed an agreement to bring another 10 Maui Wowi operating units to the Northeast. The franchisees are Chris and Erica Bruno from Felton,

Chris has seen every side of the restaurant industry during a 15 year career in everything from catering to management, while Erica has spent an equal amount of time in a paralegal career.

Through Maui Wowi, Chris and Erica see opportunities to involve their relatives in the business and anticipate them joining the team. Chris and Erica have decided to begin with Maui Wowi’s mobile unit, a  portable cart that can move from one event.

“With the mobile business there’s small overhead, you get to go to unlimited fun events, and serve a quality product from behind a fun cart,” says Erica. “Are we catching the theme?-Endless fun!”

The flexibility of the mobile business model will allow Erica to maintain her current career and also work together with Chris to begin building awareness throughout their community.

“We want to spread the joy of Maui Wowi’s triple threat: quality products, fun décor, and unbeatable personalities behind the smiles that serve our guests,” says Erica.

Maui Wowi has more than 450 operating units in seven countries. The company has been in existence since 1982.
