Dover International Speedway will continue to offer a  pricing program aimed at bringing fans to the track for its two NASCAR  weekends.

The spring weekend at the Monster Mile will include the Friday, May 30 “Lucas Oil 200” NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, the Saturday, May 31 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and the Sunday, June 1 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

The fall schedule  will feature the Friday, Sept. 26 “Drive Sober 150” presented by the Delaware Office of Highway Safety NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race, the Saturday, Sept. 27 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and the Sunday, Sept. 28 “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the third event in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

For the third straight year, the track is offering discounted tickets for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races as a part of its three-tier pricing program, as long as the fans commit to the track early.  This year,  the deadlines for the best savings  was  extended to allow more time to take advantage of the best prices  offered for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

Fans who  purchased  their Sunday, June 1, 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series tickets last week saved  50% in some seating sections. Dover later extended the deadline to Wednesday.  Also expiring on Wednesday   is a discount for using the RV park adjacent to the track.

“In the past two years, our three-tier pricing program has been met with favorable reviews from our great fans,” said Denis McGlynn, president and CEO of Dover Motorsports, Inc. “When we decided to redesign our deadline structure for 2014, we thought the best way to do that would be by giving our fans even more time to save money on their race tickets. If they are willing to commit to us early, we will provide them with the best possible prices available from the track.” The track  is also introducing a new 2-Pack ticket package this year, allowing  paring  of Sunday race ticket with either a Friday or Saturday race ticket at a discounted price.

Junior tickets for ages 14 and younger will again be available for $10 on Sunday races, featuring seating in all four turns and including seven alcohol- and tobacco-free sections. Friday and Saturday junior tickets are just $8 in all available seating sections.  Tickets for the May 30-June 1, 2014 race weekend are now on sale, and fans can begin placing deposits for the Sept. 26-28, 2014 race weekend. Returning fans have the opportunity to reserve their same seats for 2014 race weekends.

Dover, like other tracks, has been dealing with a decline in attendance for several years.  That has led more aggressive promotions.
