Two farm to fork dinners area coming to central Delaware. One is the “Farm to Table” dinner at Fifer Orchards on September 13 and the other is the five-course gourmet dinner at Harvest Ridge Winery October 19.

Nage of Rehoboth Beach, and Fifer Orchards Farm, located at 1919 Allabans Mill Road west of Wyoming, will collaborate on a Farm-to-Table Dinner set for the porch at Fifer Orchards Farm in Wyoming, Del. on Friday, September 13.

The evening will begin with an outdoor cocktail party including passed hors d’ oeuvres, featuring a selection of Delaware’s local produce, local wines from Nassau Valley Vineyards in Lewes, local beers from Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, and local music.

The farm porch attached to Fifer’s farm market.  will be transformed into a c dining room for the evening.  The chefs from Nage will then wow you with a three-course menu, paired with locally-made craft beer and wine. Tickets are $88 per person (plus 20 percent gratuity) for dinner featuring Delaware-made wines and beers, and $72 (plus 20 percent gratuity) for the dinner without wine and beer.  To register for the dinner, click here.

The next event is a collaboration between Nage’s sister restaurant, Abbott’s Grill in Milford, and Harvest Ridge Winery in Marydel. This dinner is the inaugural event at the new winery, and is part of the Delaware Wine and Beer Festival Weekend. The dinner includes five courses prepared with locally-grown produce, meats and seafoods, and will be paired with five local wines from the Harvest Ridge Winery.

Attendees will start their evening with a tour of the new production facility where they will receive a keepsake wine glass.  The dinner will take place inside the winery’s newly-built banquet room, and live harp music will be provided by Dr. Mike Neilson. Tickets are $75 per person.
