Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a steak house by a customer.
The incident occurred on Thursday at 10:20 p.m. as a male suspect had just finished a meal in the dining area of the Bugaboo Creek Steak House at 1323 Churchmans Road, southeast of Newark.
After receiving the check for his meal, the suspect proceeded to the bar, approached the female bartender and implied that he had a gun and demanded money. The bartender complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the restaurant on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a black male 20-30 years of age, 5 ft. 7 to 5 ft. 11 in. tall, 140-170 pounds and with an average build. He was last seen wearing white t-shirt and dark pants.
