Grotto Pizza opened its 22nd restaurant in Dover on Wednesday.
The restaurant opened in the location of a former bookstore in the capital city.
The company also has locations in northeast Pennsylvania.
The new location is 1159 North DuPont Highway.
The company got its start in 1960 in Rehoboth Beach and still has its largest concentration of stores in coastal Sussex County. The company also has a location in Ocean City, Md.
