Delaware State Police are investigating the death of an individual who was struck by an Amtrak train in the Ogletown-Stanton area southeast of Newark.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the incident occurred at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday in the area of the SEPTa Churchmans Crossing Station, in the area of Delaware Park and Casino.
SEPTA operates a commuter rail stop with funding from the State of Delaware.
The Amtrak train has stopped north of Delaware Park. Troopers are on scene conducting the investigation.
