The mother-daughter team of Sherri Guggenheim and Jen Rubinstein opened their fifth footwear and accessories boutique, ViVi G. Shoes, in Greenville Center.

After opening its first boutique, just north of the Delaware line, in Glen Mills, Pa. in 2008, ViVi G. Shoes added locations in Palm Beach, Fla., Nantucket, Mass. and Wayne, Pa. before adding the fifth store in Delaware late last month. On Friday, April 19th Guggenheim and Rubinstein held a grand opening for the store, with champagne, catered desserts and a gift with purchase. Jewelry designer Marlyn Schiff hosted an in-store trunk show.

“Over the years we found shoppers from northern Delaware frequenting our other locations” Guggenheim said. “So, we decided it was time to bring our exclusive collection, that won’t be found at the mall, to Greenville.” The store carries products from over 50 designers – from Bettye Muller, Delman, Palm Beach Sandals, Vince Camuto Signature, Kate Space, and Milly Handbags, as well as jewels by Vaubel, Alex & Ani, and Steven Dweck. In addition to international brands such as Jon Josef and Paul Mayer from Spain; Lori Blu and Butter from Italy; and Wilbur & Gussie from London, ViVi G Shoes also carries an exclusive private label collection from Italy.

Owners say ViVi G. Shoes offers shoes “at every price point and Delaware fashionistas will have access to the most coveted brands that cannot be found elsewhere.” Oqnwea travel to the fashion capitols of the world and forge partnerships with the designers. The stores also host designer showcases and trunk shows.
