The  Emerging Enterprise Center, the small business incubator of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, helps early stage businesses establish the habits that will serve them well throughout their business life.  The EEC recently announced the graduation of Brand Builder Solutions from the 24 to 36 month program.  The EEC provides a comprehensive program of assistance that focuses on support, access and advice.

It includes office space  and business support services; access to all New Castle County Chamber of Commerce resources, such as educational opportunities, networking events, including referral groups, professional guidance and mentoring.

Brand Builder Solutions was founded by Joe Jerome. The company came to  EEC three years ago, moved into a small area of  office space and over time moved into a larger space and hired people.  Brand Builder Solutions developed a relationship with the University of Delaware, providing several student interns with real world experience and even hired one of the interns.

The company has now moved to a new office in Newark, and has plans for additional hiring. Brand Builder Solutions is a technology marketing company that builds business-oriented websites.  “We convert meaningful  website traffic into real revenue.” In addition they create mobile sites and manage social media for businesses. “We stay with our clients. We don’t help with SEO and leave. We build relationships, and the EEC is excellent at fostering trust and relationships,” Jerome said.

As for their experience with the EEC, “This company would not be on the positive forward trajectory it now enjoys without the program,” says Jerome.

“We worked with other companies in the EEC as both client and customer, the EEC provides that win-win. Because the EEC takes away the worries and costs of office administration, we were able to focus on aggressively growing our client base. The EEC has a family business feel to it. By that I mean in a family business an older generation leads and nurtures the next generation and so on down the line,” he says. Jerome credits the EEC with the quick growth of his company. “We are a fully-established and growing company. The entire 36 months experience has been great,” says  Jerome.

The concept of graduation, is an  important component of the EEC’s small business incubator program. It denotes a sense of accomplishment, having achieved certain goals and milestones.
