Corporation Service Company has acquired the Digital Brand Services (DBS) division of Melbourne IT, a company based in Australia.
The corporate domain name and online services business will operate under a new name, CSC Digital Brand Services.
CSC is based near Wilmington
“This acquisition significantly expands CSC’s global capabilities and will establish CSC Digital Brand Services as the partner of choice for companies worldwide seeking to promote and protect their brands online,” said CSC Vice President Jim Stoltzfus.
The digital marketplace is continuing to evolve, with the launch of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers’ New gTLD program. The program bring the most significant change to the domain name space since the introduction of country code top-level domains.

CSC Digital Brand Services is helping companies secure more than one-third of all commercial, or “dot brand,” New gTLD applications.
