Troopers investigate Claymont Burger King robbery

armedrobberyDelaware State Police are investigating a robbery of the Burger King, 2911 Philadelphia Pike on Monday night.

Troopers reported that two suspects entered the store shortly before its 10 p.m. closing. One of the suspects displayed a handgun. One employee turned over cash and the suspects then fled from the business.

Suspects are described as two black males, 6 feet tall, with thin builds. One man was wearing a mask and gray hooded sweatshirt. The other was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a mask.

 State Police is asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the Robbery Unit at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 extension 6.
