Delaware State Police detectives are seeking the public’s help finding a robbery suspect. Robert L. Alley, 45, of Wilmington, is being sought in connection with two robberies on Dec. 30.
The first hold-up took place at 2:43 a.m. At the Wawa located at 1 Salem Village Square, Ogletown. The cashier turned over an undisclosed amount of cash with the suspect fleeing on foot.
The second robbery occurred at the Hibachi Express, 4526B Kirkwood Highway, at 7:16 p.m. A man walked behind the counter at the front of the store, and opened a cash register. The suspect threatened the employee and claimed he was armed. After taking cash, the suspect left the restaurant west of Wilmington.
Robbery detectives have obtained a warrant for Alley’s arrest.
