Illinois-based ATI Physical Therapy acquired MX Physical Therapy’s four outpatient rehabilitation clinics in Delaware. The clinics in Wilmington, Newark, Bear, and Rehoboth Beach opened as ATI Physical Therapy on January 2.
The company entered regional market a few years ago with the purchase of Pro Physical Therapy, one of the largest practices in the state. Terms were not disclosed
MX Physical Therapy dates back to 1945 , under longtime owner Delaware Curative Workshop, the state’s first outpatient physical therapy centers.

Founded in 1996, ATI currently operates over 200 clinics nationwide, including 24 in Delaware.
