Sussex.SealSussex County Council is looking for an operator for the restaurant at the County Airport.

The current operator earlier indicated that the restaurant was not profitable and will close at the end of March.

Interested parties may obtain a proposal package, which contains a proposal submission guide and lease requirements, from the Sussex County Administration building located at 2 The Circle, Georgetown, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The deadline is noon on Feb. 1.

A release indicated that Sussex County Council wishes to lease the airport restaurant  to the best qualified operator with regard to experience in restaurant ownership and operations. Operator should also possess the financial resources and personal commitment to maintain a top quality operation.

Published reports indicated the county had given the current operator a braek on rent and utilities while a new tenant is sought.

Last year, the current  restaurant  operator ended dinner service and now serves breakfast and lunch.
