Artesian Resources Corporation raised another $25,000 to support the Boys & Girls Club of Elkton, Md. Artesian is based near Newark and has been expanding operations in Cecil County, Md.
Adding in the amount raised in 2011, Artesian has raised $45,000 in donations supporting the Elkton club.
At the official opening of the new Boys & Girls Club last month, Cecil County officials and community supporters came out to celebrate with Boys & Girls Club Executive Director Mary Jo Jablonski.
“This has been a dream for more than six years,” Jablonski said. She thanked Artesian and the many other supporters who donated furniture, appliances, equipment, landscaping and funds.
“Artesian was pleased to once again help the Boys & Girls Club achieve their dream by sponsoring the Second Annual Golf Outing to benefit their organization. The enthusiasm of our employees and corporate sponsors helped make the day a tremendous success for the children of Cecil County,” said Dian C. Taylor, Artesian Resources CEO.
