New Castle County Detectives Thursday arrested a husband and wife after undercover officers learned that Shawn Earl, 24 and Theresa Earl, 31 were allegedly selling heroin from their Scottfield home south of Newark.
Both were charged with felony drug and weapon offenses, and endangering the welfare of three children who live at the residence.
After being issued a search warrant detectives reported finding 245 bags of heroin in their bedroom closet that was packaged for sale, a 12 gauge shotgun with ammunition and a small amount of marijuana.
Arraignments are pending for the Earls.
