The state’s poultry industry is facing some tough challenges, due to the high price of corn, according to a story from WDDE, the new public radio FM station in central Delaware.

Production cuts are a distinct possibility for the Delmarva region, which has to import corn from the Midwest to feed the poultry population.

WDDE, a part of Delaware First Media,  went on the air a week ago from studios in Dover
