Interstate 95 exit 4A to Del. Route 1 southbound will be closed during the late evening and into the early morning hours beginning on Tuesday night through July 26th as paving work is completed.
- The ramp, shown in this DelDOT image, wll be closed until early next year as part of the I-95-Route 1 interchange project.
The closing will take place between 10 a.m. And 5 p.m. weather permitting. Cherry Hill Construction will be repaving and shifting traffic over to a new final traffic pattern.
The temporary closing is part of the I-95-Route 1 interchange project near Christiana Mall. The detour will be to Route 141 and return to I-95 southbound.
The nightly closing is in addition to the closing of the I-95 Ramp 4B to Del. Route 7. The ramp closed earlier this month Access to Route 7 from northbound I-95 will be a detour route until early 2013.
