Amazon.com will hold a job fair over the weekend for its new fulfillment center in Middletown, Del.
Published reports indicate the event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, at the Embassy Suites in Newark. The new center will employ hundreds year around, with the number increasing around the holidays. Amazon also operates a fulfillment center in New Castle, which was its first East Coast site.
A massive fulfillment center is being built in Middletown, with opening slated for later this year.
The company is looking for warehouse associates capable of working in a warehouse.
