By 2030, electric utilities are projected to invest a whopping $1,830 billion in the power grid, according to the Edison Electric Institute.
The political and economic future of the United States hinges at least partially on how it manages this massive investment. If the federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Bloom Energy‘s economic development program in Delaware is any indication, America’s future economic competitiveness seems anything but assured.
