Newark, Del. Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at about 9:45 a.m. on June 16th, 2012 at SAS Cupcakes at 134 East Main Street in downtown.
Officers reported a 19-year-old female employee had just opened the store when an Hispanic male entered the store and displayed a large knife. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect took the victim’s cell phone and fled out the front door in an unknown direction. The employee was not injured
The suspect was described as a male with a large, muscular build and a buzzed hair cut. He was wearing a black and red shirt, dark pants, black sunglasses and had tattoos on his arms and neck.
