Solar module maker Motech names new US president

Eric Kuo, the new president of the U.S. Operation brings more than 15 years of global experience in branding, growing markets and driving revenue, according to a company release.

He joined Motech Americas from MSI Computer India PVT, Ltd where he held the position as Managing Director. While with MSI in India, Kuo increased revenues significantly by building sales and marketing and established offices in Mumbai and Bangalore to compliment MSI India’s headquarters in New Delhi.

While with Edimax Technology Co., Ltd, Kuo was Managing Director of their European operations where he established corporate offices in Poland, Russia, Czechoslovakia, the Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

Motech’s Newark facility has been in operation for more than 20 years. It was formerly owned by now-defunct AstroPower and GE.
