Celia Cohen’s Delaware Grapevine has often labored in obscurity, outside of Delaware’s circle of political junkies. The site eschews social media and other bells and whistles that can improve web traffic and the focus has remained on a narrow slice of the web universe.

    That’s a shame.

Cohen wrote an excellent column  on Mitt Romney’s recent trip to Delaware that’s must reading for businesspeople.

Cohen has a reputation for leaning to the left, but has a clear-eyed view of political strategy and the state’s unique culture. That has earned her respect from both ends of the political spectrum. Based on her observations, Romney may want to get a ground game going in Delaware, even if his handlers consider the state a lost cause.
