Frontier Airlines announced three new routes from Philadelphia International Airport.
Routes are:
• Philadelphia to/from Dallas/Ft. Worth
• Philadelphia to/from Grand Rapids
•Philadelphia to/from Indianapolis

With the announcement of new service in Philadelphia, the airline is now the second largest carrier in Philadelphia by the number of destinations served.
Frontier’s ultra-low fare model charges for luggage in overhead bins and other amenities. Flights typically operate two or three days a week.
In flying to Dallas, Frontier will go head to head in Philadelphia with Spirit, which is also an ultra-low fare airline.
With the addition of new service to Dallas-Fort Worth and the only non-stop service to both Grand Rapids and Indianapolis, the airline will now serve 26 destinations from Philadelphia.
The airline briefly served New Castle Airport but shifted operations to Philadelphia.
Philadephia’s airline traffic is dominated by American Airlines, which earlier merged with US Airways.
