913 Delaware Ave. building sold for nearly $1.9 million

Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International announced the completion of the sale of an office building at 913 Delaware Avenue in Wilmington.

The single-story building measures 8,100 square feet and sits on a half acre. 

The property was sold by Washington Street Realty Company, LLC, a Delaware-based investor, to 913 Delaware Avenue, a Series of KD Financial, LLC, for $1.895 million.

Bart Mackey, a principal at Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International, represented the seller in this transaction. The parties settled on January 11.

The 913 Delaware property was built in the 1940s.  and served as an A & P grocery store for 30 years.

In the early 1970s, the property was purchased and reconfigured to serve as the flagship office for Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate for 35 years.

 For the past 10 years, the property has been a renal care facility and is currently a U.S. Renal Care location.

“This prime Delaware Avenue and I-95 exit location has changed ownership for just the second time in almost 80 years,” stated Mackey. “The circumstance was right for the seller and the buyer.”
