Lewes is slated to get a steakhouse this spring.
Harvesttide Steakhouse has rolled out a website and Facebook page announcing the future opening.
The restaurant will operate at the location of DiVinci’s Pizza at 410 E Savannah Rd.
“Our dry-aged, USDA prime steaks pair perfectly with our selection of the finest bourbons and wines,” a Facebook post stated.
No menu has yet been published.
Steakhouses are (pardon the expression) rare in the busy, seafood-heavy dining scene, with the exception of the 1776 Restaurant, a mainstay on Coastal Highway, Rehoboth.
Others in the mix are an Outback in the same area, Mio Fratello Italian Steakhouse in Selbyville, Summerhouse in Rehoboth and Ruth’s-Chris in Berlin, MD.
Other restaurants typically have one or two steak options for those not on board with seafood or other offerings.
