The Wilmington location in downtown is the newest of three operated by NextFab.

The partnership provides NextFab memberships to all full and part-time DCAD faculty members so that they may use the makerspace to develop ways of integrating the latest in technology and innovation into DCAD’s curricula while also furthering their own development as practicing artists,  a release stated.

Future phases will include field trips to NextFab so students may use the equipment, software and instruction to complete class projects and the provision of full NextFab memberships to all degree-program students.
